iPhone unlock scare
so I'm getting a little worried about all these peoples unlocked phone locking back on them. What is going on is att finding out about the unlock and fixing the problem. So is this going to be the end of the tmobile iPhone? Or will there be a way to keep the unlock i really dont want to pay200 to break my contract with tmobile to switch to wack att. Can someone fill me in on whats going on and what can be done

If you look at the issues that are happening, they are usually with people who have unlocked there phone multiple times....
It is a software unlock. Which means you are changing the phones software, and there is no telling what can happen. now for the most part it is just a few little things here and there. until there is a definative unlock, there is 2 options... hw unlock...with issues, or sw unlock...with issues. There is nothing that ATT is "doing" to stop the iphone from being unlocked. Apple already stated they their goal is not to stop native software from working with updates, but they give no guaratee that it still works after an update... Apple's goal is to make the best iphone as possible.
you take a chance with the either. that is what we are doing here.
learning o stay 1 step ahead of apple. some of us will make the sacrifice of losing an iphone in the persuit of a fre iphone.

I'm trying to do my hw on the unlocks.where do u get the info. My buddy did mine I'm just worried some how att tmobile or apple is going to find a way to lock it back. If they do can I restore factory settings then go to att or is the phone messed up after an unlock? So if by phone is unlocked just don't update the phone and iTunes and don't keep unlocking it and I should be safe?????
