Maybe you should mention that this method does NOT restore a FW 1.1.1 iPhone to FW 1.0.2.
Before people get confused...I updated your thread title.

I don't think it will work
bbupdate fails if the firmware is newer than the one you have

it might work but I doubt it
not going from 1.1.1 to 1.02

only 1.0.2 to 1.0.2
