This is a very stupid question and I assume the answer is yes, but:

Is there any limitations on the language options with the French iPhone? I assume the options to select Spanish, English, Italian etc... is there.

Reports are the firmware is 1.1.2 which would indicate the standard language choices offered by that firmware (Eng, French, German, Italian) though by default it might be set to French though not locked to it. However I cannot prove such a statement.

It has the default English, German, French, Italian for the iPhones purchsed in Germany or France.

Thanks for that. I did expect this to be the case. It doesn't make sense to have a different 1.1.2 for france only.
