Somehow I guess I finally bricked my phone. I failed to upgrade to 1.1.2, then downgraded. And when I tried to jailbreak it the jailbreakme.com method failed. I then tried the touchfree method.

Now all I get is the apple logo forever. I cannot set the pone into DFU mode and nothing happens when I insert the phone into the cradle. ibrickr doesnt recognise the phone. is there anything I can do except throw it out?

You should be try it with another computer, sometimes i have same problem. If iPhone can show apple logo, will have solution to recovery
