Default Iphone keep freezing it seems. How to restore iphone to its virgin state?

I have search the forum, but I didn't get a good answer. I thought I will ask this question for the future for people who are looking on how to fully restore their iphone to a "virgin" state.

So, can someone explain how to restore the iphone to the virgin state on a windows?

I have an unlocked iphone and sometime the iphone hangs/freezes at random moment. For example, after making calls, sms, playing with the iphone, etc.. I hit the top right button to lock the phone. The next moment when I wanted to use the phone, when I hit the Home or the top corner button to bring up the "slide to unlock" screen, instead of that, the apple logo show up. It looks like the phone was somehow restarted on its own.

Anyone has similar problem and knows a solution? If not, I just want to restore the phone to its virgin state and ask for a warranty exchange.

    TIA

just plug the phone into the comp and click on itunes and click on restore. The phone should still be unlocked, but you would have to jailbreak and activate again. If that still doesnt work you have to plug to usb and home and power button for about 30-45 seconds until it gets to recovery mode. then restore.
    hope this helps.

Thanks, I have done it several times (the normal restore) and I still have the problem. I am beginning to think it's one of the apps in my iphone that's causing this problem.

What do you mean by SW unlock? If SW stands for software, anySIM is also a SW unlock?
