iPhone frozen after startup logo
after trying "Making the carrier name/logo fit without scrolling", i've replaced the font size from 14px to 11px, re-uploaded the file to the iPhone with iBrickr and did a poweroff-restart on the iPhone. when restarted, the boot-up logo (gray apple in the middle) appears but won't load/show anything further.
have tried several restarts but nothing happens, it simply hangs there.
what i saw: iTunes can see the connected iPhone, also iBrickr can see it and i can browse through the files. still i can't start-up my iPhone.
i'm running on an 1.1.1 iPhone with 04.01.13_G firmware.
please help me, i got my iphone 3 days ago and i'm affraid i messed it up...
You can try to do a hard reset. Hold home and power buttonf for about 25s. If still no luck ( i think you wont pass the problem ) i suggest you do a restore. turn off iphone. Hold power and home button for 10s after that release power button but hold home button for additional 10s and it will show up in itunes, but it will look like iphone is off. download software 1.1.1. to your desktop and then pres shift + click with mouse on restore button. Choose software you want to put on your iphone and you will have clean restore of 1.1.1. Jailbreak it, activate it and it will be as new.
Let me know how it went.
More than 100 iPhones unlocked
thanx for your reply.
1. enter iphone in restore mode
2. tried to install (via itunes) 1.0.2 but didn't work
3. installed 1.1.1 successfully after
4. booted up like a charm
5. unlocked with classic #307#* method
6. didn't need anything more - works fine with vodafone romania
7. (don't ask me why) ran anysim 1.1 and got an error
8. phone works still fine, have the same random crahes / resets like before
let's say, i'm happy it works...still looking for a solution to get rid of the crashes, tho...
