No, not that I know of.
People have tried putting the phone in freezer, tried a lot of stuff without much luck.
The only sure way is to replace the commboard.
Another sure way is to replace the chip inside the phone which is no easy task even with proper tool.

Link for what ?? the commboard ? You can do a google search for that. Or search the forum here, some people purchased & replaced it.

As far as replacing the chip, TA_Mobile is the person that can do it (he's in VietNam). Don't even try to do this yourself.

    Thumbs up

Dude, just put the phone in dfu mode (hold home button and sleep for 10 seconds then just hold the button) (make sure your phone is plugged in to itunes because dfu mode displays nothing on the screen) then restore (preferably to 2.2(much easier)) and then use quickpwn to jailbreak/unlock

Also another option I just though of is to downgrade the bootloader from 4.6 to 3.9 (I'm guessing you have a 1.1.2 or 1.1.3 OTB) and downgrade to firmware 1.1.1 and virginize the baseband.
