iPhone 1.1.1 Hangs at Silver Apple Screen, restore/reset/ nothing works.
Hi guys,
I have a new iphone that i purchased at the apple store today, i jailbreaked it using the toc2rta method and then used CARNAVAL. when i rebooted my iphone it gets stuck at the silver apple logo when booting. Reset doesn't work. Restore doesn't work either.
Any way's to solve this?
Thanks.

connect the usb cable to the iphone and computer (don't launch itunes yet), turn on the phone, them hold both buttons (the upper one and the bottom one), when it turn off the screen unhold the upper button but keep holding the bottom one... it will go into DFU mode (a special recovery mode).... when you hear another beep from your computer it's on dfu, the screen will be black but it's on dfu.
launch itunes, it will tell you the phone is in recovery mode (the screen MUST be black, if it isn't you did something wrong, try again), now shift_click restore, and select 1.1.1 and do it all again.
if you didn't damaged your seczone/baseband it should work, otherwhise you will have to downgrade to 1.0.2, restore baseband, virginize, upgrade to 1.1.1 again.

Getting DFU mode is not easy under Windows, so you may need to retry a couple of times.
