iPhone 1.0.2 to 1.1.4, How?
Hey guys..
So my friends phone has 1.0.2 firmware, and he wants to upgrade to 1.1.4...
His phone is soft unlocked, not hardware.
He has removed Installer.app, and I cant install it again, tried through iBrickr...
So this method, http://iphone.unlock.no/#how-to-down...inize-baseband, is out...
I need Installer.app for that method..
Can I just Restore to 1.1.4 and use iPlus?...

First upgrade then restore as having a clean phone makes the process easier

which ever way just as long as you have a clean phone. The reason why I say upgrade then restore is beacuse thats how I am used to doing things and it also asures me that I am at least where I want to as far as firmware is concernd before I have to restore

Thanks guys..
Restored it to 1.1.4, and then use iPlus, worked like a charm.

your welcome also be sure to check native software for a list of apps and fixes for 1.1.4 as somethings have changed with this firmware if you might not have heard

What all the guys here ment (I think) is "Upgrade by restoring"! ;-)
You'll have a clean slate. Less variables when installing & ocasionally tweaking apps.
