I have started again restored to 1.1.3 then downgraded to 1.1.1 jailbreak + activate, upgrade to 1.1.2 jailbreak + activate, installed BDS, Terminal, SSH, run gunlock, run with no errors, downgraded bb to 4.02.13, but still get error invalid sim!! any ideas???

This is just a guess, but did you orginally ACTIVATE this phone carrier that supports the iPhone in your area?

I purchased an iPhone 1.1.2 OTB that was already activated with AT&T, and when I tried using a SIM solution, I got this error everytime when inserting a NON AT&T sim.

i also get the same thing...

i ran an unlock script by rippa. everything went fine. restarted my phone and no luck.

so i tried again and this time used the bricktool. still no luck

my iphone is activated my at&t? is that a problem?

i went from otb 1.1.2 to 1.1.1 to jailbroken 1.1.2.

i have tried the bricktool. does not seem to work, the strange thing is that if i downgrade back to 1.1.2 with 4.02.12 my turbo sim is not working where it was before, i cannot even get in to the sim menu

the phone has never had a geuine sim in it

any ideas??
