Nevermind guys. Figured it out. Ziphone -j-a does not seem to jailbreak the phone. It just activates. So had to run -j separately again. Installer is installed now. Unlocked on 1.1.4, with the new BB and getting signal with every reboot without having to run Signal.app.

If you own a Mac you can try this...
Download Independence (http://code.google.com/p/independence/)
Install OpenSSH
Download Installer.app (or extract from any package)
Scp Installer.app to your Iphone /Applications dir..
If you don't own a mac... go to the nearest Apple Store

Download and extract the source from http://repository.apptapp.com/packag.../installer.zip
Then SSH the Installer application into you Applications folder
Also you should set the permissions to 777 on Applications and Applications/Installer.app and Applications/Installer.app/Installer
Good luck :-)
