Never heard of this issue. I would say, try the entire process over again to see if it solves the issue.

Yes, it's safe.
You don't even need to downgrade, why don't you try to run the jailbreak software again on your already jailbroken iPhone?

If that doesn't work you can always go back to 1.1.1 and start the process all over.
No need to re-run anySIM in that case by the way...

I can't since it's 1.1.2 now. BTW, it's still not sim-unlocked, just jailbroken and activated

You can also check the permissions of the Installer binary by connecting with ssh in your phone.

Most of the time, applications crashes are caused by this.
