Lucky Mac X Users (Unlock for 1.1.2 OTB), when does Windows get a turn?

pls read before u post, independence is a tool for modyfing content in a iphone and is not meant for unlocking - unlocking means to be able to use ur iphone on other networks than wat its designed for. so far there is no software unlocking solution for 1.1.2 otb phones.

If you go to the independence google code website they have posted a news item saying they have reports that their new version works with OTB 1.1.2. I'm presuming they don't mean the unlock, just the other functions of their software

it does mention "1.1.2 OTB unlock solution" though......

it says rumors are coming in that it works on 1.1.2 ---- meaning the application, NOT the unlock which is still ANYsim 1.1.2u for the upgraded phones

So what is this then? A Jailbreak solution for 1.1.2 without the whole downgrading / upgrading clutter?
