iNdependence & 1.1.4
iNdependence was updated today offering a activate and jailbreak for 1.1.4. SInce there is no SIM unlock, that was not updated. See iNdependence here: http://code.google.com/p/independence
My question is; does iPSF unlock hold?? I did an upgrade to 1.1.3 and then activated and unlocked with ZiPhone. Does any one know does the unlock still hold?

Here are the facts:
- Apple has records of which iPhones have been activated through AT&T. They can bring up this information based on your serial number or phone number
AT THE STORE or OVER THE PHONE

I have the same question...
can people with IPSF geohot just update through iTunes and use
indep. to jb and activate?
-

I used to IPSF first on 1.0.2, then I used ziphone at 1.1.3, I have now upgraded to 1.1.4 and it DOESN'T work. Although I think using the signalfix will allow it to work.

It works, I just done it.
All work after to have reinstalled signal.app and daemon.
I do update Itunes.
Activate, jailbreak and install ssh with independance.

I only have reinstall installer with ssh but it doesnt work. seems to be corrupted!!!

Did you set the correct permissions in signal.app? See here for details:

Nothing is working still!! I followed the guide. Is the two file permissions suppose to be 777? What about the folder?

I have Ismaster same problem.
I did follow every step on that guide, using Independence to A/J and put Signal.app in my Applications Folder, Set the permissions to 777, and Nope! No Signal.
Where did I go wrong?

I think the BSD subsystem is missing in your cases. That's why the script fails.

I am afraid if I removed the BSD Subsystem from the Uninstall list in Installer, I won't be able to re-install it, because since I upgraded, Installer doesn't install anything. It keeps failing. So how can I be sure BSD is not installed (although it is showing on the Uninstall list in Installer), and would that be the only problem keeping Signal.app from getting me signal?
