Is it worth importing iPhones at the moment ??

I have a family member in the usa and was wondering if I should take a punt and ask them to bring back some cheap iphones with the hope it will get hacked.

I was also thinking at some point apple may come out with a firmware to unlock all the phones once they have made their money...

Anyway it was just a question.
