    Default [IMEI] Can i change it with ziphone 2.4 (not GUI) BL 3.9 ?

    Hi, just a question. Is it possible to change the IMEI with ziphone 2.4 with a BL 3.9??
    I hear is only for BL 4.6 but I just want to confirm it. What the command to change the IMEI? Was it Ziphone -i (imei i want) ??

    ziphone -i (15 digit code of desired imei)

    Quote from Zibree :

    ZiPhone never touches internal security data. -i option just fakes them

    Quote from myself :

    It is illegal in most countries, so do it on your own reposanbility

    me too i wanna know if this could work on 3.9, I just wanna fake it to my old phone which came with Rogers, I need to fake it as Rogers does IMEI filtering to sort out phone internet users, if you have their handset, it's 7$ unlimited/mth but if not it's 5cents/kb.

    Its works. I tried it and hoping to see a bill from FIDO soon.

    You have to run the Unlock command with it to get it to work so..

    ziphone -u -i [imei]

    Did u do that for the 7$ to work on a WAP setting??

    FIDO:
    Make a file called proxy.pac with the following text and save it to /private/var/root on your iPhone (SSH will help here):

    function FindProxyForURL(url, host)
    {
    if (isInNet(myIpAddress(), "10.0.0.0", "255.0.0.0"))
    return "PROXY 205.151.11.11:8080";
    else
    return "DIRECT";
    }

    Next, open up /private/var/root/Library/Preferences/SystemConfiguration/preferences.plist
    and edit where you see ip1 to read:

    <dict>
    <key>Interface</key>
    <dict>
    <key>DeviceName</key>
    <string>ip1</string>
    <key>Hardware</key>
    <string>com.apple.CommCenter</string>
    <key>Type</key>
    <string>com.apple.CommCenter</string>
    </dict>
    <key>Proxies</key>
    <dict>
    <key>ProxyAutoConfigEnable</key>
    <integer>1</integer>
    <key>ProxyAutoConfigURLString</key>
    <string>file:///private/var/root/proxy.pac</string>
    </dict><key>com.apple.CommCenter</key>
    <dict>
    <key>AllowNetworkAccess</key>
    <integer>1</integer>
    <key>Available</key>
    <integer>1</integer>
    <key>Setup</key>
    <dict>
    <key>apn</key>
    <string>wap.fido.ca</string>
    <key>password</key>
    <string>fido</string>
    <key>username</key>
    <string>fido</string>
    </dict>
    <key>Version</key>
    <integer>1</integer>
    </dict>
    </dict>

    Save and reboot the phone.

    you can call them and ask them if they see your modified imei, you have to call data support and they can tell you in their system, it's called V12.

    btw ziphone site no longer offers the command line version. Was yours BL3.9? coz mine is and ziphone says that it's only for OTB 112, 113 (mine was OTB111 BL3.9) and the GUI version of ziphone says imei change is no longer available.

    I'd love to have the 7$ unlimited WAP on my iphone as well.
    I'm really tired of 10mb limitation i have with rogers.

    EDIT: jsut changed my phone's imei with Ziphone 2.5, it was easy and didn't even need to restore.
    My phone was otb 1.1.1 BL3.9 restored to 1.1.3
