it seems i cant putty into the iphone.

bsd subsystem installed
community sources installed
open ssh installed

ip address match and cable is connected to computer(windows)

i have internet access via wi-fi because i can surf with safari on the iphone

when i launch putty it just stays black and then i get a fatal error network connection timed out.


ideas???????

the first time you connect via putty/ssh, it takes a while for your iphone to generate the keys so you are not going to see the connection login right away.

- general - settings - autolock to never
- putty again.

i just tried that same error netework connection timed out

from your pc, can you ping the iphone IP address?
I'm wondering if the ssh daemon is running on your phone.
did you install services.app on your phone? If not, install it, run it, you will see the ssh selection. From there, turn it off/on again. You can also try rebooting your phone.
