A more generic fix in on the works.
Very weired, i have run the wifi fix two times with no luck

    any special procedure or order?

    Thanks

I don't know if its worth to mention, but I just unlocked my iPhone for the first time, using iLiberty+

What I noticed was that even though iLiberty+ status bar below said Done, the unlock/jailbrake/activation was far from done, the iPhone continued workin and its important to keep waiting untill your phone reboots by itself with message "Slide to unlock" before disconnecting from PC/Mac or even touching the phone. At frist I though it hung/crashed, but it was still working as I after minute or two some new text appeared on iPhone screen...untill it rebooted with the "Slide to unlock" message.

Though I just point it out incase someone new gets confused like I did a bit, but decided to be patient

Great work with it, thanks whoever made it!

I have a question regarding bootloaders, as I have no idea what they are.

I am using a Mac. My iPhone was (I think) OOTB 1.1.2 (maybe 3), but I've kept up with iPhone updates, so I am now on 1.1.4. I am an AT&T customer that just wants to jailbreak and NOT unlock.

What is the difference between the 3.9FB and 4.6? Before jailbreaking, should I check the Upgrade Bootloader from 3.9FB to 4.6 box? My concern is with warranty, as I've read somewhere (although I don't fully understand it) that if you use a certain bootloader, it's stuck permanently and can void your warranty. I don't want to do that, obviously. What Bootloader do you need to have in case you need to service the iPhone at Apple?

I'm all confused, basically. I guess the main gist of this is I'd like to know the difference between 3.9FB and 4.6, why I should or shouldn't check the box to Upgrade from 3.9FB to 4.6 when I jailbreak, and if I successfully jailbreak, what I need to do before taking the phone in for service at Apple should I ever have to.

Also, I do want to upgrade to 2.0 in June. Will Jailbreaking interfere with that at all?

I appreciate any and all help anyone could provide.

    Thanks!

    Ok,
just restored my iPhone from 1.1.2 to 1.1.4. Used iLiberty+ (with the addition of AppSupport Patch 1.1.4, BBinfo, BSD, OpenSSH). What i noticed, is that this applications doesnt show on my installer, so what im going to do, is that im going to copy localpackages from iplus and paste on my iphone. But OpenSSH don work. Dont know why.

EDIT: Another thing i realized, when you install BSD using iLiberty, it doesnt show on installer, therefor any app that need BSD wont install, cause it wont see that you have BSD installed. Aviegas, how can i create a simple payload that will replace LocalPackages with iPlus one?Or with a edited one, that has every app i installed using iLiberty?I tried editing BBinfo payload, but couldnt do it. Thanks,
    Abras

IPSF does a "textbook" exponent=3 Bleichenbacher RSA attack on the unlock token...i..e. they forge it.

Yes, i'm fairly sure that a phone unlocked with IPFS is a proper unlock (not firmware patch), making it permanent. But of course, unlike other's, iphone needs activation and IPFS therefore completely dependent on activation, which is depending on jailbreak. But when it comes to the operator lock itself, IPFS's permanently unlocks it.

I'm not sure exactly how IPFS does unlock it, but i'm feeling very sure it's one of these:
    1. IPFS reads data from the baseband/EEPROM, and rebuilds the lock area in EEPROM with proper data - without any lock. This is exactly the same done on almost all other phones.

I just installed iLiberty+ and everything works great so far. However, I did jailbreak using iPlus before and, for some reason, there were A LOT more apps available for iPlus under installer than there are in iLiberty+ under installer. Themes (not nearly as many as iPlus), games (only two available?), everything - there isn't as much available. Why is that?

    Otherwise, this is great.

EDIT: Also, I am getting a "Package download failed!" error message on more than few apps.

And again, is this Installer the program the same as it was on iPlus? I'd say there was almost 10x as much stuff on iPlus as there is on iLiberty+. Is there something else I need to install, like a custom payload? If so, how do I go about doing that? There really isn't much available on installer as is, save for a handful of themes?

But again, I appreciate all the hard work that went into this. Any help would be appreciated.

    Thanks!
