Hello! I have a very big issue with my iphone

It is an 1.1.4 OTB and i used iliberty+ to jailbreak, activate and to unlock it. It all worked fine and i installed some games and apps and played around a bit. The phone worked great for about two days and then suddenly when i was playing icopter it froze and the screen began to flicker and the phone was restarted. After that the phone was running for a while and then the same problem occured but not in the icopter application. After that the problem just got worse.. it froze and the screen was flickering very often.

I have restored the phone via itunes, both to version 1.1.4 and version 1.1.3, but with no success. I have tried to do the unlocking/activation/jailbreak procedure using ziphone and iliberty+ again. The problem has even became worse.. Now the phone can't start in "normal mode" but only in dfu mode or recovery mode. And it freezez and starts to flicker almost instantly. This makes it very hard to restore the phone and stuff like that since it freezes before the restore is completely done.

Now i dont know what to do.. it feels like i have tried almost everything.. Can it be some problem with the baseband or the bootloader? i have bootloader 3.9FB.. Another thing is that i chmodded some file to make the "terminal vt-100" work.. can this be a problem? I really hope it's no hardware issue.

Does anyone have any idea of what i can try or what is causing the problem?

Try erasing you baseband with iliberty, restore to 1.1.4 from DFU mode and the jailbreak and activate with iliberty after that upgrade you bootloader to 4.6 stock, neuter and unlock with bootneuter.

well, not much to say but it sound like you installed some bad software (not secure). Next time when you install something in "Installer" make sure it safe. I have this problem before when i first purchase an iphone i just install all the app(just wanna try it out) and my phone just act slow and the screen start freeze up everytime i run any program. My suggestion is that make sure you know what you doing .

To fix this typical problem: bootloader 3.9 fb (dangerous). YOu need to find the way to put bootneuter into your phone and fix the BL. But first just put your phone in DFU mode using "restore and update" in itunes to erase all the contents then start a fresh jailbreak+activate+unlock using Ilib+ or pwnage (Win or mac). Good Luck.

Im having the same problem with the screen flickering.

It is happening everytime i use it and it is so annoying.

another problem is that sometimes when it is in flicker mode the phone resets then goes to the apple logo followed by the itunes logo with the plug underneath it.

the only way to get it working properly again is to do a restore through itunes

i unlocked and jailbroke using ZiPhone. ive tried 1.1.1,1.1.2 and 1.1.3 and it seems to be doing the same thing.

please help as it is so annoying having to deal with this problem over and over again.

Hi, I'm having the same problem.
The screen fades to white with the image all distorted. Then sometimes it comes back, but right after flicks and screen goes white and phone freezes. Hard resetting sometimes brings back, others only with a restore.

I don't any apps installed, just jailbroken firmware 2.2.1 (with baseband 2.28.0 due to yellowsn0w).

The problem that seemed to be occasional became frequent. :-(

Now I'm currently trying to downgrade to firmware 2.2, since before updating it "survived" for about 3 weeks.

Has anyone discovered anything further about this issue?
