Brandnew 1.1.1 Jailbreak Resistant iPhones:
Scenario:
My dad bought 2 new iPhones in las Vegas 7S742, and for some odd reason they are jailbreak resistant, after doing the tiff exploit i ran carnaval and they say Failed to put XXXX error 8, i couldnt make it in to the springboard.i tried the appsnap method and no luck, i No nothing! i restored the phone Once unlocked, activated, with 3th party appz loaded they are still refuse to uphuc putfile test.txt /anyware, im still getting error error 8.
How to solve this error:
- Put ur phone in DFU mode and force it to restore to the firmware located in this guide.
- Go to step 2, instead of http://jailbreak.toc2rta.com add http://jailbreakme.com
- Once u are at http://jailbreakme.com scroll down and select install appsnap
- U will be send to the emergency screen, dont do a thing, it can take from 2-5 mins, once ur phone starts ringing again, turn it off and turn it on again.
- U should be in the springboard by now
- Go to Step 4 and follow the guide
- In the Carnaval folder there is a folder named cert with 3 files, Launch winSCP and drag the 3 files to /private/var/root/Library/Lockdown/ to fix Youtube.

virginized phones go to Step 1
Brand new 1.0.2 or 1.0.1 phones go to step 1
Brand New phones 1.1.1 go to Step 2


Pre-Requisites:
Wifi
WinSCP
anySIM
CARNAVAL

LETS GET STARTED:

1) Restore you Iphone

If you are having trouble restoring ur phone error 6 and 9 just I change the usb port and restart the PC...credits to bmn for this tip!

-Launch iTunes and shift click in the restore button

-Search for the 1.1.1 firmware and open it

-Wait for iTunes to restore ur phone

-Once you get to the Screen or the activate phone screen, Close iTunes.

2) Tiff exploit:
To jailbreak your phone we must prepair it, to do that we need to do the
tiff exploit in Safari
-In the Activate Iphone Screen Scroll so we can get to the dialer pad
-Type: *#307# and press call
-You Phone will Ring Answer it (If you dont get the Answer Screen,Delete *#307#, type 0 and press call)
-Press hold
-Your phone will ring again but this time decline the call This will Send you to the Contacts Screen.



-Add a Contact With 2 URLS:
1) prefs://1f
2) http://jailbreak.toc2rta.com (if that doesnt work try this http://jailbreak.kengz.com)

-Tap prefs://1f (this will send u to the settings screen)
-Select Your WiFi Connection and leave your phone there for 1 min or 2mins.
-Reboot your phone, if u get the Wi-Fi symbol Go to the next Step, if u don't repeat the procedure until you get Wi-Fi

**Your WI-FI SECURiTY HAS TO BE SET TO OPEN***

-Now do the *#307# to get into the contact Screen Again
-Tap your contact, and select the URL2 http://jailbreak.toc2rta.com, this will launch Safari
it will open the page and close automatically sending you to the activate iphone screen.

3) CARNAVAL
Just to make things clear, CARNAVAL does work in windows Vista but not for everyone, For some odd reason i couldn't make Carnaval work with windows vista, if u have windows vista you are most likely screw(like i was), i suggest you to find a machine with windows XP, if anyone knows how to make Carnaval Work with windows vista, send me a tell please.


- Before CARNAVAL works you should start iTunes just to recognize the iPhone.
- Next close iTunes and make sure the process itunes.exe and the itunes helper process are CLOSED. (to do that press ctrl-alt-sup go to the process tab and select end process for both.

- This is very very easy just click in the file: (CLICK HERE) by brasuco.Bat
and follow the instructions:
You should get this four screenshots and reboot the phone 4 times in the process.













Great your phone is Jailbreaked and Activated.

4)Unlock Preparation
You should see the springboard by now.

- Set autolock to never:
Settings -> General -> Autolock -> Never

-Update installer:
In the springboard launch installer then --> update installer (left and upper part of ur screen)

- Install BSD subsystem:
Launch Installer -> All packages -> and search for BSD Subsystem
Reboot

-Install OpenSSH:
-Launch installer --> All packages-> and install "Comunity Sources"
Now Scrolldown to System---> OpenSHH
Reboot

5) Unlock
-Launch WinSCP (user: root password: alpine)
- Navigate to the applications folder
- Copy the anySIM.app folder the to the applications folder



- Set anySIM folder permisions to 0755



- Go into the anySIM folder, search for anySIM and set permisions to 0755


- Reboot your phone so u can see the anySYM app in your spring board

-Launch anysIM

-Once anySIM has finish,launch WINSCP again
-Navigate to the App folder
-Delete the anySIM


-Reboot

Cheers you iPhone is unlocked!!!!!!!!

I have one question. After I am finished with the whole process iTunes is asking me if I want to restore from my previous backup. Can I do this or is it best to start from scratch? The only thing I really want to restore is my contact info. That info is located on my work computer which I will not have access to until tomorrow. So, are there any risks to restoring from a previous backup (1.0.2) in iTunes? Thanks again!

THanks to your giude I was able to reviginize my unlocked 1.0.2 phone. This by far was the easiest gide to follow.

BTW I was able to use CARNAVAL on 5 phones and I have vista. There were times it didn't work but all I did was reboot my computer and it worked after the reboot.

I have better infos about Brazil for "brasuco" to add into carnaval:

- We have a lot corrupted cops.

- Our police kidnaps and murders people with could blood.

I have already unlocked my phone once before (it was on FW1.0.2) it worked prefectly....
I then decided to try installing a theme, which broke my phone (kept restarting over and over)

So i tried to restore it (it upgraded to FW1.1.1) and now i cant unlock it.

Will this method work ?

oh and btw i cant find the download for the 1.1.1 firmware anywhere.
