    ziphone with refurbish option was used in recovery mode.

    i cannot determine for sure what bootloader i have also firmware seems to be unknown...even if i know i was on 3.9 and firm 1.1.4.

    is there anyway i can do that with a tool right now so i can post back?

    i tried eziphonetools. thing is that when i plug in the iPhone it keeps rebooting. i had to put in recovery mode which on mine looks like a white screen.

    so i did what's writen... put in DFU and try again and i got another error 6.

    from ibooter here is a print of environment variables. maybe that helps:

    printenv
    config_board = 'm68ap'
    loadaddr = '0x9000000'
    boot-command = 'fsboot'
    bootdelay = '0'
    idle-off = 'true'
    boot-device = 'nand0'
    boot-partition = '0'
    boot-path = '/System/Library/Caches/com.apple.kernelcaches/kernelcache.s5l8900
    xrb'
    display-color-space = 'RGB888'
    display-timing = 'optC'
    P unlock = '1'
    P reflash = '1'
    P bl39 = '1'
    P jailbreak = '1'
    P ierase = '1'
    P filesize = '9849923411124224'
    P info = '1'
    P boot-args = 'rd=md0 -s -x pmd0=0x09CC2000.0x0133D000'
    P auto-boot = 'false'
    image-version = '0x2'
    framebuffer = '0xfe00000'
    secure-boot = '0x1'

    i know i was on 3.9 and 1.1.4 before this whole situation developed.

    hi doroftei..

    can u tell me where do these lines come from??

    P unlock = '1'
    P reflash = '1'
    P bl39 = '1'
    P jailbreak = '1'
    P ierase = '1'
    P filesize = '9849923411124224'
    P info = '1'
    P boot-args = 'rd=md0 -s -x pmd0=0x09CC2000.0x0133D000'
    P auto-boot = 'false'

    IMHO P means that u wrote variable by urself (those are not factory settings)

    tell me, did u got this iphone from new or second hand??

    sure bro.. but it takes time,,

    when there is a will, there is a way

    allright, let's get started

    if i were u, i would do one of these progress
    *pick one bro

    1. have u tried pwn before? what was the output?
    2. try radio command in ibooter,, *radio detect.. what firmwire does it say?
    3. try radio off and use pwn again
    4. force shut-down ur iphone, and power up ur iphone again but this time directly to recovery mode *pressing bothbuttons till apple logo appears and release power button.. hold the home button till cable and itunes logo appear.. and then ipwn again... if 'rdisk0s1' written in there just wait for the apple logo disappear, it should bypass the mounting process
    5. try radio off and DFU restore

    first of all thanks all for all your help.

    now for the points:

    1+5 tried pwn and it was succesful (did that under mac). problems started when trying to restore in itunes. also tried DFU with radio off. but it did not work. (going to try again anyway).

    2.] radio version
    radio version
    04.04.05_G

    3+4. when i go in recovery mode i get a white screen. i will try ipwn again. after i exit recovery mode it keeps rebooting.

    Gonna try what you said and post back.

    1. just tried pwnagetool with radio off and after ipwner i get 2008-06-01 23:34:19 - Failed to start "pwning" on your iPhone/iPod.
    2. tried again and i get the message with "your phone is now being pwned. please wait for reboot". and the phone keeps rebooting.
    3. tried restoring in DFU with radio off. got 1604 error first and then an error 6.
    4. tried to restore without DFU but with radio off and got 2001 error

    so sorry to hear that folks

    anyway, what exactly did u mean 'rebooting'?

    did ur iphone show apple logo?
    and after minutes it showed running circle in the middle?

    by rebooting i mean apple logo quick flash apple logo quick flash apple logo quick flash etc etc etc...and it goes and goes on and on and on. if i keep pressing the home button the screen turns white and the phone is recognized in recovery mode.

    if i do restore in recovery or DFU mode it shows apple logo and the running circle but when restoring it goes up to about the middle of the word restoring and then...error 6 .

    think i'm going to try the freezer method described in a post related to the 1011 error. nothing else comes to mind. i would like to fix this one...but i'm getting a new one anyway .

    thanks again and if there are any more ideas...i have nothing to loose trying.
