I've successfully unlocked my iphone with "InDependence" + "anySIM" weeks ago.

I change SIM cards all the time. Everytime I change to another sim card, I need to INdependence "activate" my iphone again. I guess it's normal?

Last week, I tried "Unlock" app. I did not have any problem changing different SIM card. til today, I was at the airport transfering to another country.
I change my simcard at the airport, iphone tells me my iphone is locked somehow. so I anySIM again while I have no computer around me. didn't work, so I tried "unlock" app again. (some says that it's not good to run anySIM twice?)
The resule is that I lost my WIFI function. I guess my iphone turned into an ipod now.
so I came back to hotel, try as many method as I can. virginize it.... INdependence it.... so far, I still can't get it working
("Error obtaining the ICCID (ensure there is a SIM card in your phone). this is the error message I got.
I'm now trying iTweak, I guess it went pretty good. but when it comes to anySIM.
first it went thru "Dumpig the NOR" process. about 5 mins..
and error message shows up says "Unlock Failure Couldn't locate bytes to pach".

I didn't give up, I tried it again..

What can I do now? is there a way to restore my iphone back to the factory virgin?
(I've try different virginize method on the internet. non of them works.
please help!!

* My phone is a FW 1.0.2 one. I never upgrade the FW, and it's still 1.0.2.

Once you unlock your iPhone theres no need to activate everysim that you put in the iPhone...

Restore your iPhone and rewrite the baseband to the original state, then re unlock it!

please offer the working restore solution. I've found many ways to restore my iphone with itune "shift" click "restore button". but when I direct to the firmware folder "phonedmg" or "iPhone1,1_1.0.2_1C28_Restore.ipsw.zip".
it doesn't work. are there any working restore method avalible?

It tells me to browse specific file for restore.
There are
009-7698-4.dmg
694-5298-5.dmg
kernelcache.release.s5l8900xrb
Restore.plist
and a "Firmware" folder. which one should I choose?
(I tried most of the files on iPhone1,1_1.0.2_1C28_Restore.ipsw "folder")
It doesnt work, are there any other ways to restore my 1.0.2 iphone to virgin?

- what version of itunes are you using?
- how did you put the phone in restore mode? hold power and home at the same time until you see the triangle?
- do you have iPhone1,1_1.0.2_1C28_Restore.ipsw on your local computer?

You can restore to 1.0.2 but the baseband will not be virginized. that's Ok, as long you don't upgrade to 1.1.1.

ps: reading your first post again. You used anySim a week ago. What version of AnySim 1.0 or 1.1 ?
if older version, the baseband is not virgin. If newer version, your baseband is good.

I used new INdependence to put my iphone in restore mode (with yellow triangle showing)

yes I do, but after I downloaded it. The file becomes (iPhone1,1_1.0.2_1C28_Restore.ipsw.zip)

You can restore to 1.0.2 but the baseband will not be virginized. that's Ok, as long you don't upgrade to 1.1.1.
I never upgraded to 1.1.1
but I guess the baseband is ruined!

I used the first GUI version of Anysim. should be 1.0
can I use AnySIM1.1 to unlock my 1.0.2 iphone?

I just tried to restore by rename the iPhone1,1_1.0.2_1C28_Restore.ipsw.zip to iPhone1,1_1.1.1 xxxxxx
some error message shows up. I'm not sure if it's restore succesfully.
I'm now installing AppTapp, hopefully I'll have it restored in an hour!

any other ways to restore my iphone?
there's no way to virginize my iphone back to the factory setting if I had used the first anySIM GUI version?

I tried to restore my iphone cuz something happened to it.
I restored it with itunes. and installed AppTapp to reflash my firmware version.
After AppTapp downladed the firmware 1.0.2.
it pops up a screen shows

1. my iphone was unlocked successfully but got screwed because I ran AnySIM so many times.
2. It's a 1.0.2 iphone had never upgraded to 1.1.1FW
3. I'm stucked in the yellow triangle screen...
4. I tried restore with iTune by directing to the firmware 1.0.2
5. I installed AppTapp, try to reflash the firmware.
6. I got stucked!
