Hi I have my phone working fine, till i installed customize and I lost all icons and I only say the wallpaper.

I restored 1.1.1 from itunes and now I'm at the activation screen again.

Nothing seems to work. I restored the pre- tiff 1.1.1. restore file but jailbreakme.com does nothing. I tried touchfree but it just hangs at step 2

Please help. I used the REALLY ultimate method to unlock

Restore using iTunes.

1. When finished, let it connected, cancel activation, change the name of your iPhone double clicking on the left side.
2. Slide for emergency, dial *#307#, it will ring, delete the *#307# that you wrote using the backspace next to the numbers, dial 0 click call, answer, click hold, it will ring again, hit decline.
3. Go to contacts, do not press home button. Add a contact with any name, add this urls: jailbreakme.com and prefs://1f
4. Click save, go to prefs://1f, connect to Wi-Fi, return, go to general, auto sleep set to never press home button, slide for emergency, dial 0 click call, answer, click hold, decline, click on the contact created, click jailbreakme.com, safari will open, install appsnapp, wait, it will return to activate iPhone and auto restart.

You're done. That worked for me in the morning with a virginized 1.02 updated to 1.1.1

Put the AT&T SIM back in before doing this. jailbreakme didn't work (crash -> back to activation screen immediately -> sleep forever) for me with a different SIM.

Spot on! I ran into the same problem. Tried restore/jailbreak with a T-Mobile SIM card inside my phone & it never got passed the Activation screen for the slide to unlock. Once I used the stock ATT SIM, unlocking worked like a charm!
