I need to get the yellow triangle again.!
I hit the Sleep/Awake button and Home button at the same time, but the iPhones never shows me the yelow triangle. I need to update the firmware but every time I do it using 'Restore' in iTunes after the complete download shows me something like iPhone cannot be restored. ERROR -50 ¿?
I need to start all the process to unlock again. Does anybody knows how to do it??
thanks

You need to hold both buttons for well over 30 seconds..."hitting them" once is not enough.

thanks, but it didn't work. When I restored, then unlock/jailbrake still hearing a wierd sound in my speaker, and no one can hear me when I make/receive calls.
I'm using iNdependence 1.2.1a, itunes 7.4.2 and I tried with firmware 1.0.1 and 1.0.2. still the same problem. I'm MAC user..

start iTunes 7.4.1 on your Mac and hold home- and on/off-button on the iphone. connect mac and iphone and keep holding the buttons on the iphone.
the iphone boots in restore-mode, itunes opens up the restore dialog. release the two buttos on the iphone.
now you should be able to restore

I had this problem and while the above way is the "popular" way to get into recovery mode, it isn't the only way. Here is another way that should work.
1. Turn off your iPhone.
2. Press and hold the Home button.
3. Plug the iPhone into your mac or pc with the Dock/USB cable. (Important: Don't let go of the home button)
4. Continue to hold the home button until the yellow triangle and "Please connect to iTunes." message appears.
And that's it. Hope that works for you!
