I messed up, i think she's bricked...help
OTB 1.1.1 Phone
Did the independance steps, installed anySim 1.1.1, ran that but it died during the unlock process.
The phone never recovered.
I'm trying to do a restore thru independence and iTunes, and nothing is working. Restoring thru iTunes hold option key method, gives me a error 1011, which is code for "bricked" I think.
Any other options to get the phone back to a normal state?
Thanks

OH maybe it's not bricked, just wounded.
I was putting it back in the box to unlock another phone, that went fine. When I turned it on and the activate with iTunes popped up.
It seems sluggish. I entered field test mode, and the firware is blank.
I can get it into DFO mode thru independance, but should I try to downgrade and continue the process?

you can try installing uictrl and restarting the commcenter that might show your firmware again
but from reading the fourm a bit noone found a solution for a 1011 error. it usually occured when people were doing hardware unlocking and reset their phones after using ieraser, as I think anysim 1.1 uses a similar ieraser method this may have been what happened to you.
Not all is lost though as you seem to have other iphones I presume you are in USA, and Im sure apple would replace the phone if you said it happened when trying to update your phone to 1.1.1 , if they checked and saw no modem firmware they would know something went wrong and an update to 1.1.1 could possiblly cause this problem considering it was given its own apple error code.
1011 no firmware present or firmware corrupt.
saw it was your wifes and she is using the att card in another phone untill this one is fixed, if you keep asking them to fix it they will probably just replace it.
good luck
