i have an unlocked iphone. it is a 112 update i did my self. my head phones broke and i need to send them in. i can do this via internet so i dont need to go to the store. if i do go to the store they might void it. ok so on the internet (apple.com) it says to put my serial number in. i put it in and it says this has not been activated. so what can i do so it can show it has been activated. i search this i cant find any thing if anyone could help.

You can't "show" it's activated unless you really did activate it with ATT. Just go out and buy some headphones for the iPhone. There is a store near my university that sells iPhone Headsets for like 20 bucks I think. Not a big deal.

Does Apple even replace headphones?

I doubt even if you did send it in that apple would replace them. earphones in general go through a lot of wear and tear, and depending how you take care of them they are bound to break soon enough. If they break its usually because people are sorta abusing them.

Take the fall and buy some new earphones because they won't be replaced.
