Exclamation I have 2 bricks here! Need help of some "guru" !

I have 2 hard bricks here:
after I unlocked them on the old hardware-method on 1.02 they where fine.

to make the update to 1.1.1 i visited the unlock.no website and installed the virginizer 3.x and ran it without any problems or error messages.

after it, I updated to 1.1.1 - the IMEi number was still fine, but after i run anySIM 1.1, the 2 phones are bricked wit 0049... IMEI :-(

    what I tried to unbrick:

    downgrade to 1.0.2
    downgrade baseband to 3.14.08
---> IMEI still 0049... ---> run anySIM 1.02 NO Succsess, IMEI still 0049...

    downgrade to 1.0.2
    downgrade baseband to 3.14.08
---> IMEI still 0049... ---> run anySIM 1.1 NO Succsess, IMEI still 0049...

    update to 1.1.1 again
run virginizer 4.x from i.unlock website
    resored to 1.1.1 again
---> IMEI still 0049.. run anySIM 1.1 No Success, IMEI still 0049...

    update to 1.1.2
    downgrade to 1.1.1
    run anySIM 1.2u
IMEI still 0049.. update to 1.1.2 No success, Imei again 0049...

I tried by Terminal, by Putty, I tested Big Boss method, I tested all virginizer scripts
    but I always failed

I think my problem is that virginizer failed first time, update to 1.1.1 bricked, but the problem cannot be repaired by normal erase BB and reflash BB, maybe because not the complete BB will be flashed, but only parts of it?

Is there a possibility to erase everything on the iphone and reinstall all after it (like a proper "format c: on my PC ?")

    Unhappy Did not work....

    Hi lamanodedios,

I followed the instruction step by step, but still the same problem finally:
I had downgardet 1.0.2 with modem 03.14.08 and IMEI 00499...

I ran AnySIM 1.02 and got the answere:
    ------------------------------------
    please restart your iPhone
The Flas operation succeded but the
    unlock commands failed.
You might want to check the baseband
    manually using minicom

    ---OK--
    ---------------------------------------

    Any other idea?

You probably should start from scrarch. That is, restore to 1.0.2 and re-flash the old baseband firmware completely. Afterwards you will need to obtain your secpack, by using this cracked IPSF method. That's the only way, you will get your IMEI back.

There was another web site then http://iphone.unlock.no, but I don't have it at hand right now. I will do some searching and post back to this thread.

    Cheers,
    budy

Ahh, it seems that you will need to run your own "IPSF" server to get your IMEI back. Here is stated how you can do this in Windows

when I check in minicom, I get following response:

    Welcome to minicom 2.2

    OPTIONS:
    Compiled on Jul 21 2007, 05:09:51.
    Port /dev/tty.baseband

Press CTRL-A Z for help on special keys

    AT S7=45 S0=0 L1 V1 X4 &c1 E1 Q0
    OK
    AT+CLCK="PN",0,"00000000"
    ERROR
    AT+CLCK="PN",2
    +CLCK: 1

    OK

I also tried IPSF alreasy, but it failed as well...

    I think I had a similar problem.

I remember I virginized (I still have the download, called virginizer_pack), the ran the old version (for 1.0.2) of anySIM. That old version of anySIM put things back in order.
