I've been watching, waiting until I understand this stuff to do it without questions but....I give up.
I have a week 44 phone purchased in Hong Kong. It has 1.1.1 jailbreaked using anysim. NOW...I want to update to 1.1.2 and have been sucessful with OKTOPREP and even downloading the new jailbreak (windows.bat) files. MY question is....when i connect to iTunes, only the update to 1.1.3 shows...what's this "shift + 1.1.2" click on the icon stuff....HELP. I don't want my new phone to be a brick!
Did I mention HELP!
Thanks Pete

go here to download firmware 1.1.2 somewhere in your computer
http://iphonehacking.webs.com/filedownloads.htm
then when in itunes, after your optoprep do a shift + update and
choose the file you just download above. it will update your phone to 1.1.2 with all your old stuff. after this then u can do jailbreak with window.bat and unlock with anysim 1.1.2u. make sure u put it in Airplane Mode before clicking on anysim 1.2.u

Well, I really screwed up....
The update went OK, took awhile for jailbreak to do it's thing. Then as I was running Anysim 1.2.1u, I suddenly remembered that the phone must be in airplane mode....I stupidly powered down the phone before AnySim was done. Now all I have is the "Apple" screen with a non-rotating wheel. Please tell me the phone isn't dead....
Reversible??

i've upgraded a v1.0.2 iphone to v1.1.2
now using anySIM 1.2.1u to unlock....
however half way during the process, a msg pops up saying :
Please Restart your Iphone
anySIM cannot unlock this phone. anySIM will now quit.
Please turn off your phone and turn it on again after anySIM quits.
Does anyone have the same prob and how can i unlock v1.1.2?
i've tried it again and again and off the phone or reboot it but still like tt.....

Try Hold Power and Home button to put the iphone into recovery mode to restore back to 1.1.1 and start that process again.

Did the iWorld thing again and still nothing. Any thoughts on this? how can i fix this? coz for the moment the only thing to do so i could use again the phone is to downgrade back to 1.1.1
