    1. First, take note of what your voicemail number is with your current provider (for example, in Spain the Vodafone voicemail number is 177 and in Austrlaia, the Vodafone voicemail number is 121)

    2. Click the phone button in your iPhone. (Green one, bottom left)

    3. Click the keypad tab.

    4. Type the following code:

    *5005*86*xxx#
Where xxx is your voicemail number, using the Spain Vodafone example, you would be typing *5005*86*177#

    5. Hit call.

    6. Give it a bit, and the code will be set.

    7. Hit the voicemail button, and it will now call your voicemail.
Hi Sasha and thanx for the instructions above. I did exactly as described, pressed CALL, it gave a "Please Wait" message for 2 secs which disappeared afterwards.

I then tried the VoiceMail button and it now WORKS!

    Excellent!

I have a unlocked jailbreaked 1.1.1 and 04.01.13_G. I went to installer and installed oktoprep now when i go to update with 1.1.2 it gives me a error before it installs the software. The phone comes up with a icon of a disc and a iphone cable. Then itunes says it recognizes a phone in restore mode. Thats as far as I can get. I can get my phone back to the normal springboard and when i try it again same problem. Any help on this problem or any one else have this issue?

ok i have an 1.1.1 unlocked by anySim..
I followed your step all the way to Successfully unlocking with anySim1.2.1u.
after it said successfully unlocked, i put my phone off airplain mode and my phone can not make any calls or any of my Wifi functions working.
i rebooted the iphone now its just stuck at the silver apple screen with the little timer thing going round and round.

I can't even get it to go on restore mode...." holding the home button after releasing the power button"

    Any idea what is wrong?

    anyone else have this issue?

When you upgrade you become relocked. So, yes.
