Sassha, I think I found why jailbreak did not contacted iPhone - the system language of MacOSx must be set to English.
My iPhone unlocked by AnySim 1.1 at FW1.1.1 and want to upgrade to 1.1.2.
After installed OktoPrep, upgrade to 1.1.2 at iTunes 7.5, and then use Jailbreak 1.1.2. Everything is ok, iPhone back to "connected to iTunes" screen. and jailbreak was unsuccessful I try 3 times with SSH check but nothing happen
I reboot it manually by press wake up button with home button, to downgrade to 1.1.1 after the update to 1.1.2 I get iphone with firmware 1.1.1 and baseband 04.02 12_G
"boot the iPhone" in iBrickr and try to use the well known *#307#... method to jailbreak/activate the iPhone first http://jailbreak.toc2rta.com/ *#307#==> http://jailbreakme.com then the screen change to "connected to iTunes" and after 1min was restarted automatically then the screen change to apple logo screen. Waiting and noting happened ,I restarted manually 3times only seeing apple logo
Anyone can help me?
Bobim45, I had a similar issue. Had to go into firmware restore mode to 1.1.1 and then you have to use the BBDowngrader, then re-restore back to 1.1.1 then proceed to jailbreak/unlock at 1.1.1 and follow Shasha's proceedure to get to 1.1.2. Good Luck. It did work for me when I followed those steps.
where can i get the bbdowngrader and how can i used, im got the same problem..
BB Downgrader is in the "Unlocking Tools" Category. Be sure that your modem firmware is at 04.02.13_G before you run the downgrader. When you updated to 1.1.2 your modem firmware should have gone to that version.
Remember that once you downgrade the baseband fw, you will need to restore back to 1.1.1 and then start the whole anySim 1.1 process. A good tutorial for that procedure is at http://iphone.unlock.no/
Best of luck!
Worked like a charm, once done you can remove both AnySim & iWorld from your iPhone, as once you've used them, they're no longer needed![]()
Smooth as silk,
BTW, done in Leopard, NOT set to english, iTunes 7.4.2, took less than 25 minutes.....
(excluding firmware download, of course)
Thanks Guys![]()
Success! Only issue is, now I have that ugly SSH icon on my home screen and Installer doesn't detect it to uninstall it. How can I get rid of it?
