Ok guys thanks so much finally brought back the iphone to life and unlocked it so thanks for the help on this form. Now just need to set up the 5.99 T-zone plan. Can someone please assist me with it? I have done some searches and found that u need to mess with the proxys but u can do it on the phone. Much appreciated.

I used goodluck4287's hack. It was simple and the only problem was that it took a little while, probably less than an hour, for T-Mobile to activate my T-Zones.

Try this link, download, select the folder set appropriate for your firmware, and follow the directions in each of the folders.

Let everyone know how it goes. I was a little panicked because at first nothing happened, but after shutting off my phone and restarting it (a couple of times) it kicked in just fine. Slow (I'm in a small town), but just fine.

You can use i.phone.tinyspeedtest to text your connection. I get anywhere from 30 K to 130 K depending on where I am, the time of day, weather, will of the gods, whatever.
