    will this method work if i use iUnlocker.pxl with iBricker instead of anySim?

    and if not, am i required to have the sim inside the phone already to use anySim or can i put the sim in later?

    Cant wait to get off work and try this.. pretty anxious.

    Depending on the program you use to connect to the phone (For this, I use WinSCP)

    Try changing the permissions of the bbupdater file to include execute commands. For WinSCP, right click bbupdater and go to Properties. Down at the bottom where "Permissions" are try typing 0755 which will let you run it.

    Try that.

    @abccba:
    same thing happened to me. i just restored to 102 and started again. the whole process of getting a stock 1.1.1 iphone, downgrading, IPSF unlocking, jailbreaking, activating took me between 1.3 and 1.4 hours. and i've done it a couple of times successfully already. of course, by the end i had done it so many times i edited the built in readme file to suit my needs and to workaround the errors i was getting. the original README has problems in a couple of sections. again, once you do it a couple of times you realize and fix those yourself.

    in summary i can say i have successfully taken a 1.1.1 out of the box iphone, downgraded, IPSF unlocked, jailbroke it, upgraded back to 1.1.1 and activated successfully in Dominican Republic. if i'm not mistaken it was the first in the country. credits also go to nameless63 who went through the whole process with me.

    IPSF unlocked so that means you bought a new license from IPSF? or were you able to ipsf unlock using your old license?
