    * I uploaded all the files needed to /usr/bin
    * renamed Secpack to "secpack" (no additional .bin etc)
    * run ieraser

    The output is:
    Opened: /dev/tty.baseband
    iEraser: tool by geohot
    thanks to gray and the dev team for the implementation
    thanks to nightwatch for the awesome toolchain
    and thanks to anonymous, iProof, lazyc0der, and dinopio for the idea for this cool trick
    this tool erases your main fw, starting at 0x20000. you need this for the testpoint to work
    you need a file called secpack matching your current firmware version in this folder
    see http://iphonejtag.blogspot.com for instructions on finding this file
    Waiting for data...

    and it stops and does nothing!

    Where could be a prob?

    thanks
    restart and try again..
    if it doesn't work then restore to 1.0.2 again and try again.

    actually your ieraser and secpack are not in the same folder, and therefor not working.

    make sure that both are in the same folder and the secpack is called just "secpack" no other extensions on it.

    If I used anySIM 1.02 to unlock, what would you guys recommend to unlock it again?

    Should I do a full restore to FW 1.02?

    or just run a new unlocker?

    please guys need help...

    OTB 1.1.1 -> Locked 1.02 -> downgraded baseband but couldn't unlock

    Hi, I have version 1.1.1 off the box. Gona try risking downgrading it since I'm gonna use it outside of USA. While doing this downgrade, can I use any sim from any network carrier?

    Thanks in advance.

    Tutorial on page 1 worked for me. Even though I have a valid AT&T SIM still had to use AnySim 1.02 to make it work. I now seem to have full functionality. Question: Is it now safe to upgrade to 1.1.1? At any point will I have a Virgin phone that I can not worry about the upgrades?

    I got my phone working and followed the relocking steps. After upgrading to 1.1.1 it was Invalid Sim and 04999... IMEI again. I had to start all over. I am reading all the threads to look for a "confirm" on this last step.

    aznareuz,
    Please detail the steps you took to accomplish this,
    i.e. (this is just an example)
    1. Downgrade firmware to 1.02
    2. run anysim for 1.02
    3. Downgrade baseband
    4. ...

    The more details the better! Thanks, Mason!
