I currently have a 1.1.1 unlocked and running on tmobile (with the older baseband)....I was wondering if there were a clear set of instructions on how I could go from unlocked 1.1.1 to 1.1.3....I cannot seem to find an anysim that would run on the older BL 3.9...is there anything for the older bl? let me know and thanks in advanced....

You could read the stickies or you can read the guides on iclarified or iunlock.no

as the stickies are pretty useless in my opinion - they should be locked by admin to avoid completely worthless 100s of pages - you could try this.
i found it on an other thread

    >>>
Anyways, if you're on 1.1.1 downloa Oktoprep, UPDATE to 1.1.2 from iTunes, jailbreak using dev team's 1.1.2 jailbreak (for mac), check your baseband, if you have 14.02.13_G (which you should have after going 1.1.1-->1.1.2), download anysim 1.2u and run it. Then run the official dev team's upgrade to 1.1.3 from installer.
    >>>

this is as far as I got as all detail steps are explained everywhere, but no overall how to...

don't upgrade to 113 even if u are at 3.9BL.
Not required, max go to 112 at 3.9BL with the correct
    baseband. U'll be just fine.

I think only 111, with 3.9BL is the _MOST_ stable level for unlocked/hacked
    iphones this point of time.

I've been working on this for the last day and a half. I have a 4GB 3.9BL iPhone that I unlocked on 1.0.2, then revirginized, then upgraded to 1.1.1 and then just left it at 1.1.1 and it was fine. Then I decided to try to go to 1.1.3 and that's when things have started going wrong.

I first upgraded to 1.1.2 using Oktoprep and then update. But the Anysim 1.2 unlock didn't seem to work and left the phone in a funky state. So I did a 1.1.2 restore, then downgraded back to 1.1.1, but now my baseband was at 04.02.13_G. I jailbroke, oktoprep'd and went back to 1.1.2 and tried Anysim 1.1.2 again, but this time Anysim 1.1.2 just blipped me back to the Springboard. I tried power-cycling the phone and same thing.

So then back down to 1.1.1 again, jailbroke (I now have the whole dialing thing thing memorized), oktoprep'd and then back to 1.1.2 and then tried anysim 1.1.2u. This did the same thing as Anysim 1.1.2.

So then, I went back down to 1.0.2 and back up to 1.1.2 again and tried again... and it didn't work either.

So then I went back to 1.1.1, jailbroke, and upgraded to 04.03.13_G using the iclarified tutorial, then oktoprep'd back to 1.1.2 and tried AnySim 1.1.3. This time the phone locked up and then rebooted back to an Apple logo and then froze and rebooted forever. I tried to go back to 1.1.1 but this time the whole baseband seemed hosed, so I went up to 1.1.3, and now back down to 1.1.1 and I'm going to try Anysim 1.1.3 again. I'm doing this now.

To anyone posting "just go read the stickies", you are not being helpful. If you have some specific sticky that those of us on BL3.9 should be looking at, I would appreciate more precise direction into what I'm doing wrong.

    Edit:
I'm starting to agree with Didadi - I should have stayed at 1.1.1.

    Hmm

    How about:

    Put iPhone in DFU
    Restore to 1.1
    Boot phone using ibrickr
    Jailbreak 1.1 using jailbreakme.com
    Install BSD Subsystem 2.0
    Install Oktoprep
    Update to 1.1.2 using iTunes
Jailbreak 1.1.2 using the bat file (check install SSH)
Install Devs Team Soft 1.1.3 jailbreak via Installer
On 1.1.3 ,use Bosstools to free some disk space (only fonts should be fine)
Install anySIM 1.3, and finally unlock on airplane mode.

    Thats how i did.Guides are in iclarified.com

Or taken from the useless FAQ

Or do you want to go to 1.1.3 Unlocked with Bootloader 3.9?
    Do this:
    http://www.iclarified.com/entry/index.php?enid=640

    Then

Oh how useless the FAQ has become

just one point: if you have already an anysim unlocked phone which meets all the requirements. do you need to "undo" the anysim before? because executing 2 different anysim version's cannot be healthy to the iphone or am i wrong? (->people which are softupgrading their unlocked 1.1.2 iphone & upgrading their baseband)
    2x iPhone 8GB US w 25/31 unlocked 1.1.2 (AnySim) (carrier=sunrise)
    1x iPhone 8GB US w 48 (OTB 1.1.2) unlocked with Bladox TurboSIM (carrier=swisscom)
