    actually, ibrickr is compatible with 1.1.1
    You just gotta edit a file... Heres the link to the thread:

    PS: I can confirm it works with 1.1.2 too...

    use jailbreakme and then use ibrickr, no need to edit any files

    new in installer.app under tweaks (1.1.2) is iWorld - should be just what you are after.

    Thanks, and thanks for the tip. iPhonelist apparently doesn't support file browsing of 1.1.1 - but I'll keep an eye on it.

    Yes it does look easy, only problem is that you need to edit a file and then upload it to your phone ...which is exactly what I am trying to do only without installing BSD/SSH. If I could upload to my phone without BSD/SSH then I wouldn't need iBrickr :-) Confusing, I know.
