how to downgrade firmware version and also bb!!!

1. downgrade to 1.0.2
2. jailbreak, activate, install ssh and sftp
3. copy files
4. use 4.x secpack and ieraser to erase the bb
5. put iphone into DUF mode
6. restore to 1.0.2
7. wait looooooooog time.
8. once it's finished you have 3.x bb version.

note: use itunes 7.42, lower version will ended up restore fail.

worked on 12 pieces iphone.

i used 7.4.1.2... no errors or failed downgrades

I dont know whats going wrong with my downgrade but I started many times and I always get the same error

I bring it from 1.1.1 (OTB) with iTunes to 1.0.2 (iTunes stops with Error (1013)? - is that the normal error?)
then i "open" it with iNdependence - all fine
install AppTap -> BSD Subsystem -> CommunitySources ->OpenSSH .... all fine ....
copying all files into usr/bin - open terminal ->

launchctl remove com.apple.CommCenter
cd /usr/bin
bbupdater -v
chmod +x ieraser ..... all fine until here, but if i give run ieraser (just type ieraser) I get following error

Resetting the Baseband…Done
Opened: /dev/tty.baseband
iEraser: tool by geohot

this tool erases your main fw, starting at 0×20000. you need this for the testpoint to work
you need a file called secpack matching your current firmware version in this folder

any ideas whats going wrong there ?

You need to put your secpack file in the same directory as ieraser, but make sure the file name is SIMPLY "secpack". No extension.

so it mean that ieraser cant find the secpack - could it be?
but I just download that secpack40113.bin and rename it in the finder(Mac) to secpack and copy it to my iPhone -> usr/bin/ - together with all other files inclusive that ieraser

Did you remember to first go to the folder?

#cd /usr/bin

yes I did ....

so I have to admit that I dont know much about the treminal ... so could be that i did something wrong ...

am I right to put all the files iPhone -> /usr/bin/ ?

I start to doubt me

I've found the problem for me .....

I renamed that "secpackXXX.bin" into "secpeck" in the Finder(Mac) and my sftp client (Transmit) renamed it after copying to the iPhone into secpack.bin ....
so ieraser could not find the right package

now all its fine
