Default How do i get ynasim 1.2u to run on 1.1.1 + 04.02.13_G? HELPP!!

I have a US Iphone i brought off eBay with:

    Week: 38 Model
    Modem firmware 04.02.13_G
    Firmware Version 0x3a086c03
    I/0 version 0x0002
    Harware version 0x0011

Then i was a total n00b and put it up to 1.1.2

(and now i have currently got it on the 1.1.1 firmware)

I know that the elite team brought out anySIM 1.2u

I also know that you have to do the renaming thing with the anySIM.app

But when I install the files using ibrikr.092 and then try to use anySIM it wont slide at the bottom to let me start the unlock process.

What could i be doing wrong? (this has been driving me crazy since i got the phone, and i cant do the baseband downgrade as its wayy to complicated for me + at uni and have no wireless)

    Thanks. Todd

    Dear Tr7

Please make the directory executable, and also the files in it:
    http://********************************/
In the directory named above should be all the .png and .bin files for the app, along with the anySIM executable itself.

    Good luck

I got the 1.1.1 firmware, jail broke it, installed BSD and SSH

I then added all the files into the folder i made so it looks like: Applications/anySIM.app (used iBrikr 0.92)

Then i added all the files (including making it anySIM.app)

It then appears on my screen, i then click on the logo and it wont slide to unlock

If you have installer on your iPhone download & install these files:
    • Community Services
    • BSD Subsystem
    • Open SSH

These three are required to as to communicate between your PC and iPhone.

You also need winSCP (for communication and transfering files between iphone and your pc).

Connect to your Iphone (Using winSCP)
IP Address: Check your current WiFi settings on your iPhone.
(If you have trouble, try issuing a static IP.)
    Login Name: root
    Password: alpine
    Connection Type: SCP
    Port: 22

If this is your first time connecting, it may take a minute or so. If a dialog pops up asking to Abort after 15 seconds, ignore it. If you get an error about a groups command, ignore this as well.

Once connected navigate to your /Applications directory copy the anySIM.app file using winSCP

Before pressing the Copy button, press More >> to reveal more options. Check the box next to "Set permissions" and make sure the textbox has this text:

    rwxr-xr-x
You can also enter the Octal code of 0755

Reboot your phone and anySIM should run now.
You can also use winSCP to delete or rename the anySIM.app you install that's not working.

No, winSCP requires Wifi. That is why you install SSH so you can connect to your phone via Wifi.

Another way you could do it is to install MobileFinder.app through installer. Not sure how you would be able to download it if you don't have wireless access.

With MobileFinder you can browse the phone's directories on the phone itself. And the program should allow you to change the permission for anySIM.app.
