I used winscp to set all permissions, then ran anysim. It runs, copies the firmware, then just after it says "Starting commcentre" it opens a dialogue and says "anysim could not unlock your phone, please resart you iphone when anysim closes"

What am i doing wrong?

BTW I am running 1.1.1 with firmware 4.02.13G and jailbreak and activation using jailbreakme.com.

Any help would be appreciated, since i do not have a replacement phone to use!

update your iphone to 1.1.2 with oktoprep from1.1.1, install the anysim1.2u, turn on the airplane mode then run anysim

Do you still have to set the permissions in 1.1.2?

What does the airplane mode do?

EASIEST WAY TO RUN ANYSIM1.2U (MAKE EXEC):
1) On 1.1.1 add the old anysim (1.1) using installer
2) SSH into your phone to /Applications
3) Copy and overwrite all the files in the AnySim1.2U to /Applications/anySIM/
4) Run AnySIM from the Icon, and it will be anysim1.2U and will work!

Okay so i did that and anySIM ran

Bad NEWS:

Now i have no wireless and i cant even tell if it was successful, the phone dosent ask for a sim anymore, the imei is still matches the one on the back, in the top left hand corner there is no 02 name, just the 5 little things and number 1 is slightly a tiny tiny bit raised.
Now what

I do have wireless, its not blanked out anymore, the rest is still the same though!

I had issues using AnySim 1.2u with 1.1.1 as well. I'm pretty sure it doesn't work probably with 1.1.1. What solved it for me was to go back to 1.0.2 and run anySim 1.2u. Then restore to 1.1.1 and jailbreak and install oktoprep. Then update to 1.1.2.

That worked for me and now I'm on a 1.1.2 unlocked iphone!!

I have already done the unlock via Anysim 1.2.1u now im in the process of restoring back to 1.1.1 but right now im stuck in the DFU mode and AppInstaller can't kick it out of that mode WHAT SHOULD I DO???
