Unhappy How do i get out of Restore Mode in 1.1.3? [1.1.2 OTB]

I hade problems with my itunes sync after i upgraded to 1.1.3 via installer. I then saw iclarified tutorial on how to fix it and after i followed it my springboard went nuts and started to restart every 10 seconds so i thought to myself 1.1.3 isn't worth all this so i hold down the home button and sleep button and put the iphone on restore mode to restore via itunes down to 1.1.2 but now when i try i get this message
"The iPhone "iPhone" could not be restored. An unknown error occurred (1604)."

The picture on my iphone now is the itunes image and the dock connector with out any emergency slide. the power slide dosen't even show up if i hold down the sleep button for 3 seconds.

    What should i do?

You should be restoring to 1.1.1, not 1.1.2. Then jailbreak, run oktoprep, install 1.1.2, jailbreak again.

if that doesnt work, try restoring to 1.1.3 again first, using legit itunes, then downgrade.

I can't restore to 1.1.1 either i tried to follow this guide to put the iphone on DFU Mode and then restore to 1.1.1 but that dosen't work
    http://limitededitioniphone.com/how-...into-dfu-mode/

When i try and downgrade to 1.1.1. after the phone is in DFU mode (the screen is white just as the tutorial says) nothing happens and i get Error 1603

if i restore with the legit 1.1.3 won't it make my iphone to a ipod touch? i just saw a hack in to 1.1.3 but i'm not trusting it until many have tried it.
