Unhappy How to determine if iPhone radio dead

I had a 4.6 1.1.2OTB iPhone that I tried to unlock about 10 different times, several ways. I finally downgraded the bootloader to 3.9 with ease, everything working successfully. Then I tried AnySIM in 1.1.3. Just like the countless times in 4.6, it says "unlock successful", but then I get No Service with my SIM.

    I tried :

    Gunlock in 1.1.2, 1.1.3 @ 4.6: NO SERVICE
    ZiPhone in 1.1.2, 1.1.3 @ 4.6: NO SERVICE
    AnySIM in 1.1.1, 1.1.2, 1.1.3 @ 3.9: NO SERVICE
    ZiPhone in 1.1.2, 1.1.3 @ 3.9: NO SERVICE

    I also tried:
    bricktool in 1.1.1, 1.1.2, 1.1.3 @ 4.6, 3.9: NO SERICE
    Service.app in 1.1.3 @ 3.9 and 4.6 : NO SERVICE
    Different SIM: NO SERVICE

This iPhone is becoming a real thorn in my balls, I am wondering if maybe this may be caused by a fried radio? I have WiFi and Bluetooth, but I can't even scan for networks under "Carrier".

    No I have 1.1.1 (04.01.13_G) @ 3.9

Please help, I don't know what else there else to do...
