[how to] delete ssh button on my iphone?
I have an OTB Iphone with bootloader 4.6. I am using it now as Ipod touch which is ok for now. I did the jailbreak back to firmware 1.1.1 and recently did the upgrade to 1.1.2 (using the well described mechanism)..one of the options I had to select was the ssh option but now I end up with an ssh button on my screen which I am not using, so I like to delete it. However when I look into the 'installer' then I don't see ssh as an installed application so I cannot select it there to delete it...anybody an idea how to fix this?
I appreciate your inputs as I am a newby with this kind of stuff..
From installer take CUSTOMIZE. You can do all with your icons
there are 2 option..
2. DELETE it with SSH connection
1. After installing CUSTOMIZE in INSTALLER you open the program an use the second point.
There you'll find all your Buttons, some of them are invisible. You can do that also with SSH, but it is still there! You can see on left side of your button an eye, then it is visible, without an eye it is invisible!
2. Connect with cyberduck or putty (ssh) and then under APPLICATION delete SSH... but you wrote you are new in that, so do the CUSTOMIZE stuff.. thats better for you
