Default How to check if HW unlock worked / Bootloader

    Hello there!

Yesterday I did the HW unlock (with confirmation that the testpoint worked) and until now I cannot do anything. When I used "bbupdater -f .. -e ..." I saw in one of the lines "EBL 4.6 ...". Does this mean that I still have 4.6 ?????????

Because I got an error when using bbupdater.

Hope, someone can answer this (and stops me from going mad..)

    Mat

    do bbupdater -v
if it says 4.6 then you still have 4.6
if it says 3.9 then you still have 3.9

This does not help because it says:

    Resetting target...
    pinging the baseband...
    baseband unresponsive to pinging
    Done.

I am currently working on my iphone but what you have to do after testpointing it is:
(like every tutorial tells you to)
    restore to 1.1.2
    then back to 1.1.1

    or to 1.0.2
    then to 1.1.2
    then to 1.1.1

there is a couple of waysthis might work i think.
But right after the testpoint you have to turn off your phone, reboot, connect it to your pc or mac and start restoring it.
But please look up one of the guid/tutorial threads for more info!

you need to unload the CommCenter plist before running bbupdater -v and then load after to return to normal.

I get a "no such process" when doing this (before). So... No help.

Then I would try restoring to 1.1.2, restore back to 1.1.1, jailbreak and then try to check the BL version.

you are fine. i had the same problem (blah blah blah unresponsive to pint), but the bootloader is already downgraded.

i think the bbupdater -v doens't work right away after you downgrade it.

so jus ignore it and finish the unlock.
