    Did u unload it before though? Because u unload it so bbupdater can ping the baseband, if u don't unload u don't have to reload it (though u can't check baseband)

    And it should be:
    launchctl load -w /System/Library/LaunchDaemons/com.apple.CommCenter.plist
    indeed.

    A quick question, do I need BDS subsystem? cuz whenever i try to install it my phone hangs and i need to restore it.
    When i try the bbupdater command i get, could not find or something like it, and I have put the bbupdater file in the right folder.

    I have a problem with this, i put the bbupdater file in /bin

    i ssh to my phone by typing...
    ssh root@192.168.1.xxx
    i unload comm center by typing

    launchctl unload -w /System/Library/LaunchDaemons/com.apple.CommCenter.plist

    i typed
    bbupdater -v

    but it returns 'permission denied'.

    Is there something I am missing?

    You need to set the permissions to 755.

    How do I check what baseband I have? In Settings/General/About my Modem Firmware says 04.02.13_G does this mean Iíve also lucked out and donít have 4.06? Will I be able to unlock my iPhone Itís already jail broken and Iím using it as an iTouch till the new unlock comes out. But I just found this thread and am now excited thinking / hoping I can unlock it.

    hey !
    there is an application from installer called "Baseband Information"...you find there al informationen and its easy to use
    iPhone 1.1.2. OOB unlocked and running on 1.1.3
    ZIBRI is the best!

    I looked in installer and couldn't find it. Any other ideas.
