    Hi n00b.

Just writing to report I have tested this lockdownd on a UK oob iPhone that has been jailbroken to 1.1.2 and I can say it seems to do the trick... tried with two different o2 simcards both work fine. Thank's for the good work - this certainly beats the iasign method!

    Regards

    Psx

If anyone want to give the Elite-Dev patch a try:

    http://r_a_p_i_d_s_h_a_r_e.com/files...1.1.2.zip.html

It has both the original and the patched versions, as well as the CRC32 verification that matches those at the Elite-Dev page.

I have not tested it yet (I thinking on trying yet another time 1.1.2).

Hummm... I do not think it's required in 1.1.2, as it must support phone numbers other the the US-Style now.

    Can someone confirm?

Caller ID matching still doesn't work, at least here in Slovenia (using TSIM). Waiting eagerly for patched Appsupport 1.1.2 (8 digits).

Oh well.... too bad from Apple's part.
Let's all wait for the patched version then. At least now I have another thing that prevents me from upgrading.

NO!!! You have to update immediately! In a few days completely automated solutions will be out and all the fun will be gone.

I had all the fun one can get out of this already. I wrote my own program (using iphuc) to jailbreak and replace lockdownd, install anySIM and installer and I've tried 2 times last Saturday, 3 times Sunday and once yesterday.

On downgrading back to 1.1.1 after my last attempt somehow my baseband got really corrupted and it took me 4 hours to recover. Major nightmare.

For some time, no more fun. I will wait for the AppSupport patch as well as for the MeCCA ringtone patch (this one is great)
