i hav a iphone 2g 2. something updated it to 3.1.2
after updating it shows only slide for emrgency
i jalibroke it with blackra1n
but still it shows the same screen
in itunes it says u hav put in an invalid sim
i need help unlocking/activating it plzzzzzz

Dear all,
I really need your help. I got an iphone 2, firmware 1.1.1 or 1.1.2, that was software unlocked more than 2 years ago. I decided to sell it and I went for a reset all. After more than 2 hours it was still working, all the time with the white apple.

After that, I tried to turn it off, turn it on, reset, etc. Nothing worked. Finalli I decided to restore the firmware but it kept with message error 1601. I unstalled itunes, quick and all that stuff and nothing happens. I tried DFU and got the same. At some point, I restored the recommended firmware by itunes (3.1.3 I suppose ?) and this seems to be where I'm now. If I try to restore, it gives error 21.

What should I do ? Is there still hope or I just got a nice high tech paper weight for good ?
