[HELP] Restored iPhone to Factory Settings
I accidently restored my iPhone to factory settings by restoring it on the latest version of iTunes. It is a firmware version of 1.0.2. but was at 1.1.4. when I restored it. This means that it went back to 1.0.2. correct? I have to unlock it and get it set up again. Any advice?? Thanks Alot!!

So I tried following a guide on how to easily unlock my iPhone firmware 1.0.2. and it says I need to use an iTunes version 7.4 or less, so I got version 7.3.2. but when I go to plug in my iphone, it says this iphone is using a later version of itunes and I have to get one later then 7.7. I'm pretty confused at this point, can anyone help me out here? Another problem is I tried checking for the firmware version just to be sure, so I tried dialing that *3001#12345#* on the emergency call screen but nothing happens? any idea how to check for sure?

If you restored it to Factory settings it would not go back to 1.0.2. It usually downloads the most recent version of firmware available.
If you press
Settings->General->About what does it say in the Version field?
Also what version of iTunes did you do this on?
Yeah. I'm an iPhoneaholic so what!!!!!
All jailbroken and unlocked!!!!!

I restored it on the latest version of iTunes, 8.0.1 I believe. I wouldn't be able to check the firmware in settings because the phone is locked, is there any other way to check?

you upgraded your phone to the latest fw...im guessing 2.1 or 2.2
just use quickpwn's latest version to unlock and jailbreak you fone and discover a WHOLE NEW WORLD OF IPHONE 2.x ....( this might just turn out to be the best thing you did with your phone)
use this guide....

all the files you will need are available here....i would recommend for you to download the latest fw file as the guide says and restore in itunes just to make sure you are on the latest fw...and follow the steps in guide....
ps... u must have 8.x itunes version installed on your pc....
good luck...

@law
i think what he means is the message after a fw restore that says " you iphone has been restore to factory setting "
and i dont recall any other restore to factory settings in 1.1.4 fw and even if there was ...i dont thing itunes 8.x would allow a restore to 1.1.x fw.....would it?
