I have been doing allot of readings about how to jailbreak Iphone ever since i got it 1 month ago.

The 4th and 5th number from my Serial no is 46. I did a little search on it and some say 45 and up has 1.1.2 and the new baseband and some say 47 and up has the 1.1.2 and the new basebane. I also read that 46 and up needs Turbosim inorder to use simcards other than At&t.

Do i need to by a TurboSim? Do I have the firmware version 1.1.2? and the new baseband?

Can I activate/Jailbreak my iphone and use other sim cards other than At&t?


I have tried 4 different Jailbreak guides.

I was able to downgrade my iphone to 1.1.1 and Install appSnapp and OKtoprep.

I starts getting into trouble when I tried to upgrade back to 1.1.2

I repeated it 4 times and every single time I fail when upgrading back to 1.1.2. I get the error message 1602

Does anybody know what is going on?

Please help. What do I need to do in order to activate/jailbreak my Iphone and use a sim card thats not from At&t?

It is near the bottom where it says firmwares.

Nab7007 I see that you also has 1.1.2 and have jailbreaken it. Can you please help me. Where did you get the 1.1.2 firmware from?
