    Default Help Needed!

Hi, ive had my phone since November, not bought as part of an 02 contract and i connected it to my laptop today to sync song songs onto it, and the firmware decided to install itself, and now itunes is telling me i need to activate it, which i cant do without paying a further 210.
is there a way to bypass this or somehow downgrade? because im now left unable to use my phone.

im not the most tech-savy person, so please try and dumb it down for me

    DON'T panic...

You should be able to re-activate it through iTunes on O2 without paying anymore at all.

I had this when I upgraded from an 8Gb to 16Gb iPhone.

When you go to activate it choose the option for exsisting O2 customer then enter your O2 iPhone contract mobile number, and you'll be fine.

When it happened to me I phoned O2 to check with them to may sure I only was going to be billed for one contract and they assured me if the mobile number is the same as your O2 iPhone contract is, they won't invoice it twice.

    Hope this helps
