Help -- Main script execution failed! while trying to virginize
I am trying to virginize my phone, I downgraded my iphone from 1.1.1 to 1.0.2 and I want to virginze. I followed the tutorial on http://iphone.unlock.no/#recovery-restore-mode to virginize. I installed BSD System and followed the rest of the steps, I also installed The virginizer and thats when the error popped up in the middle of the installation. Please help! thanks!

I finally decided to upgrade from 1.0.2 myself today. Got all ready, prepped, synced, download the necesary files, then The Virginizer throws me the same error shortly after starting, "Main Script Execution Failed."
I unlocked using the first Anysim from the DevTeam (thanks again!) so I know I need to virginize prior to upgrading to 1.1.1. I've read the older and much longer and complex virginizing tutorials, but I am a bit leary about using them.
If someone has a suggestion to get The Viriginizer working, that would be great. If not, I will work the older process.
Thanks in advance.

Those Virginizer scripts out there has been refined and pretty much work. "main script execution failed" means something is missing or not installed on your phone. Do you have BSD installed?

I just went through the entire process today (with many missteps) but I am currently unlocked at 1.1.1. If you read my "lessons learned" in the following thread, you will see how I ultimately got the i.unlock.no Virginizer to run and then completed the process as described. Everthing went fine after that.

I am happy at 1.1.1 for now knowing the damage to the bb has been corrected.
