I restored through iTunes to 1.0.2
iTunes is closed
ran AppTappInstaller
open PACAY folder

clicked on "(CLICK HERE) activate.bat"
DOS PROMPT opened,
I pressed enter

Failed, pairing issue
waiting for iphone.




How can I get it to work?

I am using windows XP SP2

Try sync once using iTunes.

You don't need to sync, you just need to launch itunes with the phone docked until it comes up with the first screen to get connected through at&t registration. Then close itunes and itunes helper and it will run.
